LUDHIANA: There are many reasons why singer turned actor Jasbir Jassi's first film in a lead role, 'Khushiyaan', would be remembered for long. The first one being 'ghazal' maestro Jagjit Singh's 'shabad' as it would be one of his last songs before he passed away in Mumbai on Monday.
The second important reason would be that veteran Bollywood actor Kulbhushan Kharbanda and veteran Punjabi actress Rama Vij have acted together after 30 years.

The film would also stay in the memory of viewers as the last movie of renown comedian Vivek Shauq, who passed away on January 10 this year, said Jassi, who was in the city with the star cast of the movie.
Jassi said the movie is a family entertainer with a basic message that money can't buy happiness. The movie also stars Tisca Chopra of 'Taare Zameen Par' fame. He said he hopes his fans like his songs from the film. He last sang a song for Bollywood film 'Patiala House'.
